Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 24th March 2020

Following on from last night’s announcement by the UK Government, Coating Applications PVC has taken the decision to stop production from 10p.m. tonight 24th March, initially for three weeks . As Government instructions appear unclear on what constitutes essential manufacturing, we have taken the decision purely based on the welfare of our staff, who are our greatest asset. However, we are almost certain to see similar decisions from customers and suppliers in the coming days, all of which will impact on the business and we will be monitoring the situation daily. Should you require any fabric we are still planning to have some personnel available to despatch fabric until Friday 27th March if that remains possible. We wish everyone all the very best in these difficult times.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

We continue to monitor the rapidly escalating situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and, as always, our first priority is the welfare of our employees and we are taking all the medical advice given to protect our staff. For the moment we are working at full production and all efforts are being made to increase our stock holding should we be faced with having to lower our production rates to cover employees having to self-isolate. We are also making sure that all our key administrative staff have all the necessary tools to work from home should the need arise. We will continue to update this blog as the situation changes.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As we are all aware, we face challenging times due to the unprecedented spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Coating Applications PVC has always had the welfare of its employees as its major priority, and we are observing all current advice to maintain this situation. We also need to safeguard our business as much as is possible and every measure is being taken to protect our supply chains. The situation is, of course, very fluid and we will update this blog, as and when changes occur. Lets all look after each other and fight this thing together.
